| SHIP OPERATION Global Marines & Logistics International is an entity, fully committed to the safe management of the operations of ships, following stipulations of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code, with particular emphasis on safety of navigation, efficiency and optimum running of engines, cargo handling, loading and offloading, cleaning and painting of vessels, general supply of provisions and stores, etc. We also ensure: " that ships possess all the necessary documents and certificates required to be carried on board at all times as proof of their seaworthiness, " safe navigation into, stay at and departure from the ports through collaboration with the local authorities, " the provision of victuals and stores of the best quality to the ships, " that periodic repairs and maintenance are carried out on the ships at proper intervals, following the ship's classification society's stipulations, flag State regulations and the provisions of the International Convention on the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) 1974, as amended, to ensure that they are safe for their intended operations at all times, " that the health, safety, security and efficiency of the crew is guaranteed, making sure the crew are properly educated, professionally trained and certified. |

| PORT AGENCY a. Pre-Arrival Functions: We represent ship owners and/or charterers, Ship brokers, Marine insurance underwriters, P & I Clubs, performing all the agency functions that these principals will require at the ports of Cameroon and the entire Gulf of Guinea; providing information on port conditions and berth congestions prior to or concurrent with charter-party negotiations in accordance with local regulations. We act on behalf of the principals in matters relating to recommending and/or appointing sub-agents, terminal operators, stevedores, tallymen, watchmen, haulers, etc while acting as Protecting or Supervisory Agents and as Husbandry Agents. b. Documentation. We prepare and supervise documentation and relevant procedures such as; Bills of lading, Manifests, Seaway bills, Airway bills, Delivery orders, Consular requirements, Claims handling, Liaising with P&I Clubs, Appointing General Average Adjusters and surveyors when necessary, etc. c. The Port Call Functions. Upon berthing our boarding agents immediately attend to the vessel to assist the Master to coordinate Government authorities' duties at the initial preliminary boarding and inspection of the vessel. Once the arrival boarding is completed, we inform the principal on the arrival conditions and the time notice of readiness is tendered and when cargo operations are scheduled to begin. Liaison is maintained with the stevedores, terminal operators, haulers, watchkeepers,etc, to ensure that the vessel`s cargo operations are progressing as scheduled. d. After Sailing Service. The statement of facts and time sheets covering the vessel`s cargo operations with particular reference to disbursement of funds is prepared and submitted to the principal. |

CREW
RECRUITMENT. Recruiting and maintaining continuous education, training and certification of seafarers from Chief Officers to ratings, making sure the most efficient crew is maintained on board vessels, rigs, platforms, offshore supply vessels, terminals, etc at all times in accordance with the International Convention on the Standards of Training, Certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers (STCW) 1995. We also recruit and assure the training of shore-based personnel and make provision for shore-based safety and security Officers. |

OFFSHORE OIL AND GAS SUPPORT SERVICES. We operate a service dedicated to assisting the offshore oil and gas exploration and exploitation companies, attending to their specific needs like procuring offshore supply vessels at appropriate intervals to transport equipments, materials and workers from rig to rig or platform to platform or other offshore installations, represent their shore-based operations and liaise with commercial partners, negotiate exploitation contracts, follow up on insurance matters, crew recruitment and training, provision of victual, arrange repatriation of offshore personnel, etc. |

FREIGHT FORWARDING, TRANSIT AND TRANSPORT. We handle customs clearing of goods as well as road haulage, train and air transport to various destinations within the CEMAC region. We also provide general cargo handling, warehousing facilities as well as bulk breaking of goods. There is a dedicated service that clears from customs and distributes individual cargoes that are grouped into FCL containers and arrange for sea transportation to Cameroon and other parts of the CEMAC region. We also operate a dedicated service for cargo groupage and consolidation into Full Container Load (FCL) for export or breaking into individual consignments for delivery in case of import. |
